Brian DoigProject Manager

Brian is a seasoned IT professional with over thirty of experience. He graduated from Lakehead University with a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology and a Degree in Electrical Engineering.   His role at Northern Computers + Communications is that of Technology Consultant, Project Manager and Director of Client Services. He regularly meets with new and existing clients, recommending and procuring the most current and cost-effective solutions for their IT needs.

Robin MerkleySenior IT Technician

After graduating from Confederation College & started as a Junior Technician at a company called CompuStock mainly as a hardware technician.  Fast forward 28 years of computer hardware repair up to setting up, maintaining and managing networks; still doing some hardware here and there though.

I survived the age of Floppy diskettes, serial ports, dial up modems with no Internet.  Today I am living at Gigabit speeds across Fiber Optics & playing Mechwarrior Online.

Paul McGrathSenior IT Technician

Born in Rossport, Ontario; Paul started learning about computers back in the early 90s when his dad brought home his first MS-Dos computer system. Advancing his skills with a Co-Op position at his local computer store during high school and later continuing his education with an Apprentice Position. Paul Has been working with Computers for over 20 years, with a broad understand in Windows Desktop/Server Environment, Linux Platform, Mac OS, Apple iOS, and Google Android.

Kyle MassierIT Technician

Born in Chapleau, but raised in Timmins, Kyle moved to Terrace Bay, ON for family in 2010. Falling in love with the view of Lake Superior, he stayed and began his career as an IT Technician for Northern Computers + Communications. With a lifetime of interest in telecommunications paired with 5 years of IT work experience under his belt, Kyle continues to further his knowledge with technology through the training programs provided by Millenium Micro Partnership. His main duties includes preventative maintenance for the McCausland Hospital and Wilson Memorial General Hospital; managing, maintaining and expanding both hospitals physical network infrastructure; and support of the telecommunications infrastructure within the hospitals.

Chuk RossIT Technician

Born in Marathon Ontario, Charles(Chuk) has lived all over Ontario and Alberta. After an extended stay in Sault Ste. Marie, he felt the call of the True North and decided to return to his hometown of Marathon. An avid gamer since the arcade days, Charles has always had an interest in computers and electronics, often working as a technician on the side and as a hobby. After many years as a Graphic Designer and a Welder, he decided to turn his focus full time to computer studies and recently graduated as a Computer Programmer from the Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology. In his free time you will most likely find him continuing his computer studies, reading comics, drawing, playing PS4, and watching Toronto Maple Leafs games.

Stacy MoffatGraphic Designer

Stacy is a true Northerner, born and raised in Manitouwadge, ON. She went on to complete Cambrian College's 3 year Graphic Design Program in Sudbury and immediately came back to the North Shore, setting roots and making Terrace Bay her home. Stacy has over 14 years of Customer Service experience; 10 years of Graphic Design experience; and 5 years experience as an Administrator and Mobile Specialist/Technician. Her roll at Northern Computers + Communications varies on a day to day basis depending on her clients needs. She could be designing a full Coporate Identity; managing a client's presence on multiple social media platforms; consultation and content management for web design; or even repairing a mobile device!
